About Nashville's Water Filtration
Nashville's Water Filtration is a water filtration and treatment company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Water treatment is sold on fear from a kitchen table, and the systems installed are often three times what the water needs. Our specialists test the water, explain the numbers, and size a system for the hardness, the flow and the family — nothing more.
What we do
- Test before quoting. Hardness, iron, chlorine, pH and, on a well, bacteria and nitrates; the numbers decide the system.
- Size to the house. Grains of hardness times gallons per day sets the softener; flow rate sets the filter; the family sets the RO.
- Write the service schedule. Salt, filters and media have a life, and the schedule and its cost are in the quote.
What we will not do
- Sell a system without a test. A softener for water that is not hard is a monthly salt bill for nothing.
- Oversize for the commission. A bigger tank is not better; it regenerates less efficiently and costs more.
- Ignore the drain. A softener discharges brine and needs a proper drain; it is not run into the yard.
What we actually work on
Water filtration and softening in Nashville.
The water treatment problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Spots on glasses and fixtures
- Water smells of chlorine or sulfur
- Soap will not lather
- Staining in sinks and toilets
- On a well and unsure what is in it
- Buying bottled water for drinking
Who does the work
Every water treatment specialist on our crews carries liability insurance on file with us and installs through a licensed plumber where the connection requires one.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a water treatment job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The water treatment specialists who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No reviews on this site yet — a company this new has none to show, and the water business has enough scare-sales without borrowed praise.
Where we work
Water treatment specialists serving Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the routes run through 65 towns in 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for water treatment, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our water treatment guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any water treatment specialist in the region, including us.
Who we are
Michael Blair runs Nashville's Water Filtration, which he owns, and he is answerable for the words on these pages. They come from manufacturer documentation together with Tennessee code and established water treatment practice, revised when any of it changes, and each post is dated and signed by him. Our specialists, licensed and insured, work to the commitments here; Nashville's Water Filtration backs what they install.
Any installer, us included, can be looked up: a Tennessee contractor’s license shows at verify.tn.gov. Have the certificate of insurance in hand ahead of the main valve being closed, and your city page names the local permit office.
